Coastal Georgia Roads: GA99 - Eulonia to Darien in McIntosh County

GA99 in McIntosh County runs from its northern terminus at the junction with US17/GA25 in Eulonia, GA to the junction with US17/GA25 in Darien. GA99 will traverse mostly wooded terrain with the hamlets of Crescent, Cedar Point, Meridian and Ridgeville. Landing Road/Sapelo Dock Road leading to the Sapelo Island Ferry intersects with GA99 near Meridian. GA99's southern terminus is not in Darien, however. The road will continue unsigned with US17/GA25 south into Glynn County and will branch off from there to Sterling, GA and ultimately to US82/GA520 at its southern end.

The northern terminus of GA99 in Eulonia, GA. The crossroad is US17/GA25. The carriageway will continue as GA57 to IH95 and on to Ludowici, GA. In the image to the left, you can note the, "End GA99," sign. Inspite of what signage on IH95 says, this is where GA99 ends.
