The F.J. Torras Causeway runs from its Western Terminus at US17 in Brunswick
to the intersection with the Sea Island Road on St. Simons Island. While the Torras Causeway is a State Highway, it never has been signed as such (it has the designation of GA25-Spur E).
This road was once a toll road with the toll (most recently $0.35 for cars) collected by the State of Georgia. The toll was lifted in 2004 and the toll facility was removed a
short time later. The toll facility was located approximately 1 mile East of the intersection with US17 and just before the Back River bridge.

Approaching the Causeway, the three right lanes are continuous green with only the left turn lane for Warde St. governed by the traffic light.
Merging on to the Causeway. The sign that is obscured by the tree says, "Trucks over 6 Wheels Must Keep Right Except To Pass." This restriction is common on four lane roads in GA.
